The Fairmont Community Center is dedicated to bringing people together through recreation, enrichment, and community-building. Conveniently located in the heart of Fairmont, the center offers a variety of programs and services for youth, adults, and seniors.

Rentals

For all FCC rentals, call Connell Griffin at 815-723-3577. Patrons will be given a rental contract and will complete payment at the Dellwood Park Community Center, 1811 S. Lawrence Ave. in Lockport, IL. 

Gymnasium: Resident: $40/hr. and Non-Resident: $60/hr.; Capacity seated: 50 (not carpeted); no tables: 79 max and 111 standing (Includes use of Kitchen) Now Air Conditioned

Classrooms: Classroom #1/ $30/hr. and no carpet; Classroom #2 $50/hr. with carpet; Capacity 30 (10 tables/50 chairs). Has air conditioning.

Silver & Gold Senior Club

The Silver & Gold Senior Club meets regularly at the Fairmont Community Center for fun, friendship, and activities designed with older adults in mind. Club meetings may include bingo, crafts, guest speakers, light refreshments, and seasonal celebrations. It’s a welcoming space for seniors to stay active and socially connected.

🏀 Open Gym

The center hosts scheduled Open Gym times for youth to enjoy recreational activities in a supervised indoor space.

Northern Illinois Food Bank

The Fairmont community Center is also the site of the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The food bank is open to the public on Thursdays between the hours of 10am-Noon. For more information please visit the pantry during operating hours.
