From fitness and recreation to social gatherings and lifelong learning, DPCC offers a variety of opportunities for adults of all ages and interests.
About DPCC
The Dellwood Park Community Center (DPCC) is a 21,000 sq. ft. facility and home to the Park District’s first full-sized gymnasium. The building features a regulation gymnasium and multi-purpose rooms with a kitchen.
DPCC offers a variety of youth, adult, and fitness programs, along with community events throughout the year. The facility is also available for rentals, including private events, parties, and sports programs.

Hours of Operation
Fall, Winter, and Spring Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Summer Hours (Memorial Day – Labor Day):
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Closed or reduced hours on major holidays, including New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Adult Programs Offered at DPCC
DPCC offers a variety of programs for adults of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re looking for a fun social activity, a new hobby, or a way to stay active, there’s something for everyone!
Featured Adult Programs:
- SilverSneakers® Classic Stretch: Improve balance, flexibility, and strength in a supportive setting.
- Golden Age Club: A social and recreational group for active adults 50 years old or better.
- Pickleball Drop-In Play: Join fellow players for casual games — all skill levels welcome.
- Martial Arts: Build confidence, strength, and coordination through martial arts instruction.
Programs and schedules are subject to change based on availability and season.
Golden Age Club
Golden Age Club is a wonderful way to connect with familiar friends and make some new ones along the way. Each month there is a different theme keeping every gathering fun and fresh. Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet and BINGO – all for a nominal fee.
Pre-registration is required. All clubs are co-sponsored by the Lockport Township Supervisor’s office. Thank you, Alex Zapien!

Open Gym
DPCC offers Open Gym sessions for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball throughout the week.
Rates:
- Youth (13 & under, resident): $3
- High School/Adult (14+, resident): $5
- Non-Residents: $12
- Open Gym Pickleball: $5 (Residents/CF Members) | $7 (Non-Residents)
Reminders:
- Proof of residency required annually for Open Gym ID cards.
- Challenge Fitness members receive resident pricing when scanning membership cards.
- Food and beverages (other than water) are not allowed in the gym.
- Court schedules and availability are subject to change due to programming or events.
