The Lockport Township Park District was organized in 1945 in order to provide recreation programs and park areas for the community. The Lockport Township Park District has a vast array of recreational opportunities available including an 18-hole golf course, an indoor tennis/fitness facility, and three pools (2 outdoor and 1 indoor), as well as 18 facilities, 40 parks, approximately 850 acres of property, and hundreds of recreational programs for all ages. From "Lots for Tots Pre-School" to one of our many senior clubs, the Lockport Township Park District has something for everyone!
The Administrative office is located at 1911 S. Lawrence Avenue in Lockport, Illinois. The Crest Hill office is located at 1610 Plainfield Road.
Park Board Meetings
The Board of Commissioners meet at Gladys Fox Museum, 231 E. 9th St., on the fourth Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m. The public is always welcome to attend.

Scholarships & Financial Aid
Recreation Program Financial Assistance is available to participants living within the Lockport Township Park District boundaries. Applications are available at L.T.P.D. Administrative Office at:
